Are you looking to relax after a long day of work? One of my favorite movies, “Love Actually,” will be airing on Showtime at 8pm. Writer-director Richard Curtis’s charming romantic comedy about Londoners in love at Christmas. The screenplay delves into different aspects of love as shown through ten separate stories involving a wide variety of individuals, many of whom are shown to be interlinked as their tales progress.
You might recognize a few of the famous famous including Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Colin Firth, Liam Neeson, Laura Linney, Bill Nighy, Martine McCutcheon, Keira Knightley, Rowan Atkinson and a young Andrew Lincoln before his days on “The Walking Dead.”
If you prefer to watch TV, the CW has an all new episode of “Reign” airing at 9pm. Mary’s (Adelaide Kane) brother visits and asks her to return to Scotland, but Francis (Toby Regbo) is suspicious of his motives. Meanwhile, Penelope (Kathryn Prescott) takes command as Henry’s (Alan Van Sprang) mental instability progresses; and Lola (Anna Popplewell) is skeptical about Julien’s marriage proposal.
Normally on Thursday I would be recommending “Scandal,” but I’m honestly a little bored with it at the moment. So I’ll be checking out the season finale of “Parenthood” at 10pm on NBC. The fifth season ends with Adam (Peter Krause) and Crosby (Dax Shepard) reminiscing over childhood memories. Meanwhile, Amber (Mae Whitman) and Ryan (Matt Lauria) reunite; Sarah (Lauren Graham) responds to Hank’s (Ray Romano) request; Victor (Xolo Mariduena) triumphs over his fears; Zeek gives Victor a driving lesson; and Drew (Miles Heizer) pursues his bliss.
Did you guys catch Eva Longoria when she visited “The Ellen Degeneres Show” earlier this week? If you missed it, check out the video below:
