Think what you want about Fox’s long-running “Glee” but the show still knows how to wow us with great musical numbers.

In last night’s episode, “Trio,” the series took on a, surprise, theme about trios with multiple numbers that featured three singers. With many of the characters prepping to graduate and the 100th episode coming up on March 18th, there was much to celebrate.
Besides regular cast members Chris Colfer, Lea Michele, Darren Criss and more, having guest stars Adam Lambert (as Elliott) and Demi Lovato (Dani) on hand was a stroke of genius as they both raised the bar for everyone involved.

Here are a collection of some of the best numbers from the “Trio” episode. Enjoy!

In this number, Chris Colfer, Lambert and Lovato sing The Supremes classic “The Happening.”

Gotta say, Lambert outshines Lea Michele in terms of intensity and the freeness of his voice with this cover of Heart’s “Barracuda.”

With Rachel (Michele) and Santana (Naya Rivera) feuding, they tackle Laura Branigan’s “Gloria” with a little help from Lambert.

Watch Darren Criss, Jenna Ushkowitz and Chord Overstreet sing Destiny Child’s “Jumpin’ Jumpin.”

“Glee” airs Thursdays at 8pm on Fox.
