It’s finally Thursday and we are officially one day away from kicking off the weekend! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m ready for some fun TV watching to wind down from my hectic day at work.

So of course, this means we should tune in to TLC promptly at 8pm for back-to-back new episodes of “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.” I don’t even need to see your faces to know there is a lot of eye rolling going on but I really love watching Alana (aka Honey Boo Boo), Mama June, Honey Bear and the gang get into all kinds of silly situations.

Tonight, there’s trouble in paradise as June and Sugar Bear seek out couples therapy when the latter suggests they seek our relationship advice. You see why I love this family? Everyone loves making fun of them, but at the core they really love each other.

Meanwhile, as is expected, while the cats are away the mice will play. Alana and her sisters entertain themselves by exploding soda bottles. In the second hour, the family goes on a camping trip but the girls meet Sugar Bear with resistance. Hold on to your electronic devices girl because poppa ain’t about that digital life when the woods await!

Episode 4 of “Rake” entitled, “Cannibal” airs tonight at 9pm on FOX. This was originally meant to be the premiere episode of the series, but I love the way the show has been set-up thus far. Tonight, Ben (John Ortiz) has to assign a high profile case to Keegan (Greg Kinnear) after he suffers a big loss. The case proves to be a bit of a challenge, but Keegan has a way of always rising to the occasion. His client is played by the talented Denis O’Hare, who you might know for his portrayal of The Vampire King of Mississippi Russell Edgington on “True Blood,” or the countless other TV or movies he’s starred in throughout his career. If you need further convincing, just take a look at the title of this “can’t miss” episode.

After getting ready for bed, turn off all the lights and get under the blankets. NUVOtv has back-to-back episodes of “Dexter” starting at 10pm. In “Father Knows Best,” Dexter (Michael C Hall) discovers his biological father, who he thought was dead for 30 years, recently died for realsies and made him his executor. Then at 11pm, The Ice Truck Killer leaves behind a horrific crime scene that conjures up repressed memories in our favorite blood splatter analyst. If you ask me, this guy knows exactly what he is doing.

Speaking of “Dexter,” Aimee Garcia is currently on the road promoting her new film “RoboCop.” For those of you who just started watching the series on NUVO, you won’t meet Aimee’s character Jamie Batista until season five. Until then, you can catch her visit on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” from last night. She talks about her fears, what superpower she would pick if she had the choice, and how she almost ended up representing Mexico at the Olympics. Go watch “RoboCop,” in theaters now!
