There’s something about Lupita! As the saying goes, when you’re hot, you’re hot. And Lupita Nyong’o is definitely hot. The Oscar nominee dazzled once again during her visit to “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” During the episode, we watched the “12 Years a Slave” star discuss her working on the movie, her accomplished family and recent magazine covers like The Hollywood Reporter magazine. She is one of five children and her dad is a senator in Kenya. Her cousin, Isis Nyong’o, is one of the 20 most powerful women on the African continent, according to Forbes. Wondering how a girl born to Kenyan parents ended up being called Lupita? “I was born in Mexico so they gave me a Mexican name,” she says.  There you go. Watch more of it here.

Wendy Williams on her relationship with her son. The talk show host recently opened up on her show, “The Wendy Williams Show,” about how her son, Kevin, 13, doesn’t like her. She appeared on “The View” Thursday and further explained her point, saying that her son’s going through a phase and even opened up to say how much he appreciated her. Aww…. Watch more here

Oprah Winfrey, Brad Pitt to produce Ava DuVernay’s MLK film.  OWN’s CEO and Pitt’s Plan B Production will produce the civil rights drama, called “Selma,” that has David Oyelowo signed on to play Martin Luther King Jr., according to The Hollywood Reporter. DuVernay recently directed an episode of ABC’s “Scandal” and has been named as an honoree for Essence Black Women in Hollywood event along with Oscar nominee Lupita Nyong’o and Cheryl Boone Isaacs,  the first black American president of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. On my watchlist? What I’m tuning in to see and what I’ll catch up with XFINITY On Demand this weekend…
“The Grammys”: I’m very curious to see who’s opening. My best guest? Beyonce and hubby Jay Z. If it’s a dud, will switch to the other Sunday airings. It airs Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
“Blood, Sweat & Heels”: After last week’s episode, which showed Mica Hughes and Melyssa Ford acting like drunken messes during Geneva S. Thomas’ work function, curious to see how they’ll explain it away. It airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo. Watch it here.
“Grimm”: I was getting a little bored with a few of the more recent episodes but when shady Hexenbiest Adalind Schade’s added back to the mix, my interest piques. It airs Fridays at 9 p.m. EST on NBC. Watch it here.
“Downtown Abbey”: I’m still playing catch up with this current season. Maybe the thrill for this show has left. I’ll give it another try. It airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on PBS. Watch it here.

The Hot List: Who/What’s Hot, Not
HOT: Condola Rashad starring as Nefertari in Fox’s Ancient Egypt-based series “Hieroglyph,” set to air next season (Well, well, well…).
NOT: Recent shootings at colleges and universities around the country (What’s really going on?!).

HOT: The HBO series “Getting On,” starring Niecy Nash, got picked up for a second season (Thought this show was cool. Good for them.).
NOT: People shooting others for no apparent reason (People, get it together!).
