What could possibly make me happier than knowing the weekend has finally arrived? Knowing that I don’t have to wait one more day to see the season two premiere of “Banshee.” In the episode entitled, “Little Fish,” the series picks up at 10pm on Cinemax while Lucas (Antony Starr), Carrie (Ivana Milicevic) and the Banshee Sheriff’s Department (BSD) are interrogated by FBI special agent Jim Racine (Zeljko Ivanek) in the aftermath of the bloody shootout with Rabbit (Ben Cross).

Meanwhile, Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen) sets his sights on persuading Rebecca (Lili Simmons) to return to his care. As Gordon (Rus Blackwell) stews over his wife’s betrayal, Deva (Ryann Shane) shows off her resourcefulness after being caught shoplifting in a mall. Later, a straightforward armored-truck robbery turns into a dangerous high-speed chase involving a mysterious motorcycle pursuer.

I have a feeling it’s going to be another crazy season, so make sure you re-watch any episodes you might have forgotten via this link.

If you’re looking for something to watch earlier in the night, there’s an all new episode of “Bones” at 8pm on FOX. Brennan (Emily Deschanel) dreams about Christopher Pelant (Andrew Leeds) during the investigation of the death of a girl who was murdered 18 years ago, and one of the suspects turns out to be an ex-boyfriend who was also a friend of Hodgins’.

With the return of “Girls” on January 12th, I’ll but tuning in to HBO at 9pm to watch an encore airing of season two episode nine entitled, “On All Fours.” Hannah’s (Lena Dunham) deadline worries and pressure from her publisher weigh heavily on her mind; Adam (Adam Driver) and his new girlfriend have a misunderstanding; Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) avoids Ray (Alex Karpovsky) at Charlie’s (Christopher Abbott) work party; Marnie (Allison Williams) makes a move toward her future.

Here’s a preview of what you can expect from season three:
