Happy Monday mi gente and welcome back from vacation! My emails are back to blowing up my inbox with work to be done, so I’ll be happy when I can power off my laptop and relax in a few hours. Tonight is a big night for reality dating competition fans with the return of “The Bachelor” at 8pm on ABC. I haven’t watched a full season since all that drama went down between Jason Mesnick and Melissa Rycroft, but now that a sexy Latino is tasked with giving out roses— I’m ready to watch again!
Former soccer star Juan Pablo Galavis was first seen on season 9 of “The Bachelorette” where he tried to win the heart of Desiree Hartsock. Lucky for us, the Venezuelan stunner was eliminated from the competition paving the way for him to become the first ethnic bachelor. I’ll be speaking to the single dad next week, so I hope some drama goes down early in the season!
We have a lot of great clips of Juan Pablo steaming up the new season. You can check them out via this link.
At 10:30 pm, Robert Redford stars in the 1990 drama entitled, “Havana” on FLIXe. Redford plays Jack Weil, a professional gambler in 1959 Cuba during the Revolution. En route to Havana, he meets Roberta Duran (Lena Olin), the wife of a revolutionary, Arturo (Raul Juliá). Shortly after their arrival, Arturo is taken away by the secret police, and Roberta is captured and tortured. Jack frees her, but she continues to support the revolution.
Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen visits “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” at 1230 pm on NBC. Bundchen was photographed during winter break enjoying time with husband Tom Brady and their two children Benjamin and Vivian. The power couple, who live in Boston, took photos during a crazy blizzard to post on Instagram. Does anyone else find it odd that two of the most beautiful people in the world seem to be so normal?
In case you miss Juan Pablo make his two-hour “The Bachelor” premiere, he will be visiting “Jimmy Kimmel Live” at 1130pm on ABC. The Miami resident will be joined by “Cougar Town” star Courteney Cox and singer Johnathan Rice.
