It has been a weird week since New Year celebrations took place on Tuesday and Wednesday, and many people are still making their way back from vacation. But for those of you who are back and ready to kick off the weekend right, all three of my favorite Friday shows have new episodes airing tonight.

The Carrie Diaries” is back with episode nine entitled, “Under Pressure” at 8pm on The CW. Now that Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) has moved on from being Larissa’s (Freema Agyeman) coffee runner after getting her Bongo Jeans story published in Interview Magazine, it’s time to tackle her love life. Sebastian’s (Austin Butler) father recently announced he’d be moving the family to California. What will happen between him and Carrie?

Dorrit (Stefania Owen) decides to invite the whole school to her house for an impromptu fiesta after her dad (Matt Letscher) is asked to work overnight on a top secret case. When the party gets out of control, what will she do? Meanwhile, Mouse (Ellen Wong) and Donna (Chloe Bridges) get surprisingly close.

I hope we get to see how Walt (Brendan Dooling) is adjusting to living in the Bradshaw household, and finding out whether this will be a long term arrangement. Even though his parents kicked him out after discovering his homosexuality via a candid photo in the newspaper, I’m holding out hope they will have a change of heart. But if they decide to disown him, it’s great that Walt still has a support system amongst his friends.

After a scary Christmas episode, “Grimm” returns to NBC at 9pm. In episode nine entitled, “Red Menace,” Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) investigate a Wesen “healer” whose ability holds risks that far outweigh its rewards. Meanwhile, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) takes in a friend when domestic issues escalate and Hank makes a move on his physical therapist Zuri (guest star Sharon Leal). Elsewhere, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) finally tracks down Adalind (Claire Coffee) and has a stern warning for her.

It has been far too long since we’ve seen a new episode of “Dracula,” so get ready for some good stuff at 9pm on NBC. Intoxicated by his new found invulnerability to the daylight, Grayson (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) dares to deny his curse and regain his humanity. Renfield (Nonso Anozie) is dispatched to Budapest to acquire a mysterious and long sought after relic on his employer’s behalf. Harker (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) discovers Grayson manipulated him into slandering General Shaw and strategizes on how to seek his revenge…eventually aiding The Order of The Dragon in compromising Grayson’s demonstration of his technology.

Catch up with episode six entitled, “”Of Monsters and Men” below:
