Es Viernes social, pero for those of you who want to kick back at home instead of partying tonight, here’s what’s good:

The CW is airing episode seven of “The Carrie Diaries” entitled, “I Heard a Rumor” at 8pm. As a huge fan of the “Sex and the City” series and the subsequent films, I had a moment this week when I saw a photo of Sarah Jessica Parker and AnnaSophia Robb hug it out at Cosmo’s Power 100 Lunch in New York City. SJP has kept pretty mum about her feelings when young Carrie Bradshaw is concerned, but I’m glad the two were able to officially meet in person.

Tonight, Carrie (Robb) reads an ugly rumor about herself in a gossip rag so BFF Samantha (Lindsey Gort), makes it her mission to set them straight. Meanwhile, Walt (Brendan Dooling) assists Bennet (Jake Robinson) with a situation at work; Mouse (Ellen Wong) spices things up with West (R.J. Brown); and Sebastian (Austin Butler) seeks out Maggie (Katie Findlay).

At 9pm, you can’t miss the 2-hour winter finale of NBC’s “Grimm.” Yes, it can be considered their Christmas special, but you know that it has to have a creature twist. There’s an evil Santa Claus that comes to life when delinquent teens start disappearing. In Europe, Adalind (Claire Coffee) meets Prince Viktor (guest star Alexis Denisof) , who’s come to bring those responsible for his cousin Eric’s demise to justice. Meanwhile, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) responds to the recent attempt on his life.

Did you guys catch the Backstreet Boys on “The View?” I know I seem really biased when it comes to this show but they’ve had some really great guest hosts and visitors lately! Did you guys know that Howie Dorough and A.J. McLean are Latino? Check out their interview below:
