TV has been awash with specials and news reports over the last few days commemorating the 50th anniversary of President Kennedy’s assassination in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963.

It’s been a lot to absorb — which is typical of this singular event in American history that has been the subject of so much speculation, analysis and second-guessing over the years.

We have no answers to the mysteries (so-called) that continue to swirl around this crime, but we do have a variety of specials and news reports on the anniversary and the infamous incident itself.

In November 1963, the non-stop coverage of the assassination and its aftermath ran for several days, including the president’s funeral on Nov. 25.

As a result, the 50th anniversary commemorations of that long, terrible weekend — including the shocking murder of Lee Harvey Oswald by Jack Ruby, seen live on television on Nov. 24 — will continue throughout this weekend as well.

In fact, we have at least one long-form special for you to watch that provides a very comprehensive chronology of the way the story unfolded — from the assassination through the shooting of Oswald — all told through video and news reports that aired on local and national television on those awful days.

Leading up to the actual assassination anniversary on Friday, newscasts and morning shows have been chock full of reports — reminiscences, backgrounders and interviews — about the tragedy.

“The NBC Nightly News” has aired a bunch of them, including reports on the Kennedys’ day in Dallas in the hours leading up to the fateful motorcade and JFK’s legacy.

We’ve rounded up these “Nightly News” reports here, for you to watch:
