Feliz viernes mi gente! This week seemed to fly by so fast that I’m truly grateful that the weekend is finally here because I’m ready to relax and unwind. I can’t think of a better night to get started than Friday, so let’s discuss what you can watch on TV that will help set the tone for the weekend.
Did you guys know that Grammy Award winner Bruno Mars has four sisters? Jaime, Presley, Tahiti, and Tiara are talented, beautiful, and ready to take on the music industry and it’s all being documented as part of their new reality show, “The Lylas.” If you missed the premiere episode, it will be airing again tonight on WE at 8pm followed by an all new episode at 9pm.
The docu-series follows the sisters on their journey from Hawaii to Los Angeles, California as they try to launch their musical careers. You would think that having a brother as successful as Bruno Mars would make getting a record deal easier— but they want to make it on their own steam. Their famous sibling sadly won’t be making an appearance during season one, but they hope his busy schedule might allow for it in the future.
Also on at 9pm, “The X-Factor” judge Paulina Rubio visits “Fashion Police” on E!. La Chica Dorada has been doing the press rounds in support of the Fox reality competition show and showing love to her fellow judges Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Simon Cowell. Paulina is known for her unique sense of style, so I’m anxious to see her interaction with Joan Rivers specifically. I find Joan to be honest and extremely hilarious when it comes to dishing fashion criticism, so I hope she doesn’t hold back!
Jonathan Rhys Meyers returns to NBC at 10pm for another bloody good episode of “Dracula.” Tonight, Alexander Grayson (Meyers) sets out to compromise Lady Jayne (Victoria Smurfit) by winning her heart. But when an old friend visits unexpectedly, things start to get a little complicated for everyone involved.
You can watch last week’s episode entitled, “Goblin Merchant Men” in the video below.
