The bad boy of the ballroom is coming back to “Dancing with the Stars.” Well, at least for one night.

Former “DWTS” pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy is returning to the show next week to do what he does best. No, not dancing … giving his opinion.

Never one to shy away from speaking his mind, Chmerkovskiy will appear as a guest judge alongside Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli on “Dancing with the Stars” on Monday, November 18 for the semi-final competition. It will be his first time judging his former co-stars and their celeb partners. Maks left the show back in February to focus on other projects.

The episode’s theme is the show’s first ever plugged/unplugged night.

What does that mean? The couples will face a new challenge when they are required to perform to two different versions of the same song. The remaining pairs will perform either a Jazz, Paso Doble, Cha Cha or Tango routine to an original or “plugged” version of their chosen song. In the second round of the competition, the couples will perform either a Viennese Waltz, Argentine Tango or Rumba routine to an acoustic or “unplugged” version of that same song.

“Dancing with the Stars” airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
