SPOILER ALERT

Well, I will say this about “American Horror Story: Coven,” Fiona Goode will go out one of two ways: submitting to the new Supreme Witch or die fighting it. That’s how I see it because that’s one sneaky … witch. She’s already killed two Supreme witches and during last night’s episode, we saw that she framed another witch, her longtime nemesis Myrtle Snow, for attempting to murder  Cordelia Foxx (with the help of a naive Queenie). These witches obviously possess limited capabilities because for Myrtle’s fellow Council of Witchcraft members were unable to sense Fiona was lying. And then for the Council to easily sentence Myrtle to death? C’mon, now, LOL. Yes, it was Myrtle who was burned at the stake and not Marie Laveau, who unleashed a zombie wrath on them. It was during that fight with the walking dead that Zoe, raising her and and uttering a phrase, annihilated a zombie and realized her real inner power (remember, her “talent” was killing men during intercourse). It was so great, that Marie acknowledged, “They got some real power in that witch house now.” I’m going to theorize about Zoe’s sudden power: perhaps her vaginally poisoning the guys was a side effect from stifled, built up power within her, unable to really flourish. Maybe that will stop since it’s coming out now. Just a thought. With this new gift, it seems that Zoe is the next supreme (I speculated last week that it could be Fiona’s daughter, Cordelia). This makes things interesting and I wonder if that surprised look on Zoe’s face after Myrtle’s burning was her seeing the truth about Fiona. Hmm… Yes, Miss Fiona may be a mess but she seems very regretful about how she raised Cordelia, who was severely burned and possibly blinded by an acid attack. The silver lining is that it seems Cordelia’s acquired psychometry, evident when she touched her husband and saw his sexual exploits. Momma was right about him. And while we’re on mother-daughter relationships, it seems Marie Delphine LaLaurie had to deal with her own poor parental behavior. We learned that her tortuous acts were also extended them to her three daughters (this, after, she overheard them hatching a plan to murder her). She acknowledges that she was a monster and seems very remorseful for her actions (having your three daughters appear as zombies on your doorstep will do that).  And Misty, the witch with the power of regeneration, brought Myrtle back to life. Yeah, Fiona better watch her back. Catch up on “Coven” here.

Here’s what else is happening….

Funny lady Loni Love served up laughs during a recent visit to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” where she guest deejayed. Ellen DeGeneres asked a few questions to which Love had hilarious responses. Check it out here. I haven’t seen “New Girl” yet but Damon Wayans Jr., who appeared in the pilot, will remain on the show for the rest of the season, according to Deadline.com. You can read that here. This second generation of Wayans are just as busy and talented as the first. Wayans also was starred on ABC’s “Happy Endings” before it got the ax. Luckily for him, he was able to come back to “New Girl.” Check out the Fox sitcom here. Thinking of talented fellas, actor Hill Harper has released a new book, “Letters to an Incarcerated Brother,” his fifth over the past six or so years. He talked with NBC’s “Today” show about his book, playing a CIA operative on USA’s “Covert Affairs” and his journey from Harvard Law School to acting. Pretty cool for him. Harper says this would be his last book? Oh?

On my watchlist tonight? What I’m tuning in to see and what I’ll catch up with XFINITY On Demand with…
“Scandal”: Now that we know Khandi Alexander is set to debut as Liv’s mother tonight, let’s learn the real deal behind that plane crash. It airs tonight at 10 p.m. EST on ABC. [Watch here]
“Treme”: As I previously shared, I want to catch up on this HBO series before the final season begins Dec. 1 (And Alexander is in this too!) [Watch here]

The Hot List: Who/What’s Hot, Not
HOT: Issa Rae writing a new book and HBO pilot (Congrats, lady!)
NOT: A U.S. Airways flight attendant allegedly hurling racist remarks at actor Brandon T. Jackson (Not only is this insensitive but was it worth you possibly losing your gig?!)

HOT: “Scandal” star Kerry Washington on the cover of the most recent issue of People magazine (She looks good and apparently opens up.).
NOT: Renisha McBride, 19, killed seeking help after getting into a car accident (From what reports say, she may have been fatally shot because she was black. SMH.)
