Happy Halloween mi gente! It’s the most spooktacular night of the year and you can bet there will be lots of scary things to watch on TV tonight. Who really wants to go out knocking on strangers doors looking for free candy anyways? Stay in and catch up with all your favorite shows or turn off the lights and watch a scary movie.
There’s a little bit of everything available tonight, here’s what you you can’t miss:
I understand that the CW has a new episode of “The Vampire Diaries” but I can’t welcome Halloween properly until I’ve seen, “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.” Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley will have to wait for me on the DVR or I will catch the latest episode on Xfinity On Demand tomorrow. ABC is airing the classic Charles M. Schultz cartoon at 8pm ET, so grab a bowl of candy and nibble while seeing Charlie Brown and his best pal Snoopy get into all kinds of situations.
Now that I’ve had my dose of Halloween fun, I will be tuning into “Reign” at 9pm on the CW. I’m so addicted to this show and I’m not sure why there isn’t more buzz about it. Ok, not all of what’s going on with Mary (Adelaide Kane) and Dauphin Francis (Toby Regbo) is true-to-history, but I can’t get enough of the period drama. If you missed the first two episodes, Mary has already caught the eye of both Francis and his half brother Bash (Torrance Coombs) creating the perfect love triangle. It has all the elements of a juicy novela but with much nicer costumes.
You guys already know that 10pm on Thursday’s are sacred for “Scandal” on ABC. With the announcement this week of Kerry Washington‘s pregnancy, I’m dying to find out if they will choose to write it into her character’s storyline at some point or not. I get anxiety trying to decide whether Olivia’s (Washington) baby daddy would be President Grant (Tony Goldwyn) or Jack Ballard (Scott Foley) ? But before I get too far ahead of myself, let’s just take this one episode at a time. Tonight, I’m excited to see what Ballard and Huck (Guillermo Diaz) discover about Operation Remington.
If you want to go against my suggestions and catch some scary movies, there are plenty available tonight. If I didn’t have all of the above going on, I might tune into:
“Paranormal Activity” at 10pm on Fox
“Halloween: Curse of Mike Myers” at 10pm on AMC
“Freddy vs. Jason” at 9pm on Syfy
“American Psycho” at 11pm on HBO Zone
“Warm Bodies” at 9pm on More Max
“Evil Dead” at 10:35pm on Starz HD
“Interview with the Vampire” at 9pm on NUVO
If you’re thinking about checking out “Reign” tonight, here is the pilot episode below:
