Former “Jersey Shore” star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi cried an ocean of tears after she was eliminated on Monday night’s “Dancing with the Stars.”
On the post-show red carpet, Nicole was emotional — and could barely answer questions — with her partner Sasha Farber by her side.
“I definitely didn’t think I was going to go home yet and I’m not ready to go home,” she told reporters.
“This experience has been amazing. Sasha’s amazing,” Nicole said, beginning to cry. “It just sucks. I don’t want to go!”
In the second shocking “DWTS” ouster in a row (Christina Milian was eliminated two weeks ago), Nicole was sent home instead of comedian Bill Engvall. Although the reality TV cutie was considered a better dancer, and received higher judges’ scores, Bill apparently got more fan votes.
Nicole told reporters afterward that she would miss “everybody on the show” and began to shed tears again as Sasha comforted her.
But when asked if she ever thought she’d fall in love with dancing, Nicole smiled, “Hell, no.”
And the ex-”Jersey Shore” star told xfinityTV that by doing “DWTS,” she learned, “That I’m stronger than I thought I was.”
The pint-sized celebrity also took some solace in the fact her son, Lorenzo, was in Los Angeles with her this week. “It feels good that he’s here to support me and it sucks that I’m leaving, but my son’s my world,” she told reporters before having to end interviews and catch a flight to New York for the morning TV shows.
Meanwhile, Sasha was part of his own drama, as his girlfriend, Emma Slater, dances with Bill Engvall. Emma told reporters later how hard it was to be in the bottom two with her beau of three years and watch him get cut.
Emma started to cry as she told reporters, “It’s horrible because we were just prepared — I didn’t think he was going home, I thought it was us. We were content and expected that to be the case so the one thing we weren’t prepared for was the fact it would be Sasha and Nicole.
“I need therapy after this. He’s done the best job. It’s bittersweet.”
Other cast members were sorry Nicole has performed her last dance.
“I love Nicole so much,” Brant Daugherty told xfinityTV. “I don’t even think of her as ‘Snooki.’ She’s a completely different person. She’s so mature and responsible and put together now. And she was a fantastic dancer! She really surprised a lot of us and I’m so sad to see her go.”
“Dancing with the Stars” airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
