You’ve been waiting all week and finally–it’s Friday! But today is no ordinary Friday. It’s the Friday when Jonathan Rhys Meyers makes his debut as “Dracula” on NBC at 10pm! Are you as excited as I am? Well let’s not get ahead of ourselves because we have two full hours of primetime television to enjoy before the freshman debut, so lets talk TV.

At 8pm, we celebrate the big return of “The Carrie Diaries” on The CW. It’s been a hot minute since we last checked in with our favorite future fashionista and I don’t think I could wait one more second. In the season two opener, Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) finally meets Samantha (Lindsey Gort). As a huge fan of “Sex and the City“, I’m extremely excited to see how they decide to shape young Sam and how they introduce her into Carrie’s world. When we last saw Miss. Bradshaw, things were amiss with boyfriend Sebastian Kidd (Austin Butler), but we hear there is a new love interest on the horizon!

Starting at 9pm, you should tune your televisions to NBC for the return of “Grimm.” I’m normally pretty terrified of zombies and I avoid them at all cost but considering it’s Nick (David Giuntola) who has turned into a connoisseur of brains, I will have to let it slide. Season three of “Grimm” is going to get crazy, so hop on board and enjoy the ride!

And now, for the moment that you have been waiting for— “Dracula.” I’ve had the chance to preview the first five episodes of the series and I’m absolutely addicted! I don’t care what anyone says— the vampire fad has not passed its expiration date. “True Blood” may have given us a disappointing season or two, but I believe Meyers is here to breathe new life into the mythical creatures.

HOT WEEKEND PICKS

Saturday
As you all may have noticed based on a previous post, I love futbol. If you feel the same, you can’t miss out on “El Clasico” this Saturday when Barcelona battles Real Madrid live at 12pm ET on beIN Sport channel. Will you be backing some of the leagues best players including Gerard Piqué, Leo Messi, and Javier Mascherano from team Barça alongside Shakira and I? Or will you be cheering for Portuguese hottie Cristiano Ronaldo, captain Iker Casillas, and the rest of the Real Madrid team?

The Xfinity Entertainment Channel will broadcast the match LIVE as well as air two special re-broadcasts throughout the day so if you can’t it catch it the first time, you will have more opportunities to tune in. You can also view pre and post-match analysis in Spanish. All of this will be available to most Comcast video subscribers.

Sunday
As we mentioned earlier this week, “Larrymania” on mun2 at 9pm ET will air Larry Hernandez‘s reaction to his girlfriend Kenia Ontiveros who just confessed she is pregnant. Will the Mexican American star blow up at the unexpected news or will he be extremely excited and supportive? It’s reality TV folks so it could really go either way!

Before you go and make a martini, don’t miss out on seeing our girl Eva Longoria who visited “The View” yesterday.

Are you watching something tonight that I missed? Hit me up at @SocialRosy and lets talk TV!
