Happy Hump Day mi gente! We are halfway through the week and you’ll have a cocktail in your hand celebrating the weekend in no time. Tonight will fly by with all the great TV available during primetime, so let’s chat about what you can’t miss!
If you’re a baseball fan, the St. Louis Cardinals take on the Boston Red Sox in game one of the World Series on Fox in English and Fox Sports in Spanish at 7:30pm. For those of you, like me, who aren’t into the baseball there are plenty of offerings across the board. My picks for the 8pm hour include all new episodes of “Revolution” on NBC, “Arrow” on the CW, and “Marido En Alquiler” on Telemundo.
At 9pm I will be tuning into “Law and Order: SVU” on NBC where Latinos are taking over! Guest star Kirk Acevedo (“Fringe“, “Oz“) plays Eddie Garcia, a friend of ADA Barba’s (Raúl Esparza) who is arrested and accused of attempted rape. Due to Eddie’s connection to mayoral frontrunner Alex Muñoz (guest star Vincent Laresca), he puts the campaign in jeopardy. Will Detective Amaro (Danny Pino) and the SVU team believe Barba can put aside personal feelings to prosecute the men he used to idolize?

With my hands covering both eyes but with only a gap between my fingers to peek, I’ll be watching “American Horror Story: Coven” on FX at 10pm. I normally don’t like anything horror related but the storylines and talent including Kathy Bates, Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, and Angela Bassett keep me coming back. I’m not ashamed to admit that I watch with the lights on and with a friend either in my living room or on the phone!
“The View” had Fusion Network anchor Alicia Menendez serving as guest co-host yesterday. I’ve been excitedly waiting for the new ABC/Univision partnership to launch on television and now we’re only five days away! Learn more about what you can expect when Alicia chats up Barbara Walters, Jenny McCarthy, and Sherri Shepherd below.
