We’re a couple of weeks into the fall season, and I’m still deciding what new shows will end up on permanent rotation at mi casa.

I don’t know about you, but I take my TV time serious. Each week, I have to know what’s going down with Jax (Charlie Hunnam) the “Sons of Anarchy” gang, who’s fighting who on “The Real Housewives of Miami“, and how much closer are Dr. Danny Castellano (Chris Messina) and Dr. Mindy Lahiri (Mindy Kaling) getting to pulling a Pam and Jim on “The Mindy Project“. Oh, and lest I forget to check out what drama William Levy has going on on Univision’s “La Tempestad.” Don’t be intimidated to tune in if you don’t speak español. I have plenty of non-Spanish speaking amigas who watch the show on mute. They don’t want to miss a beat (or shirtless scene) featuring the former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant and neither should you.

As an entertainment reporter for the last five years, I’ve witnessed an incredible evolution of Hispanic talent and I’m extremely excited about how they are being written into television and movies. We are no longer being stereotyped and major networks are really starting to support programming featuring Latinos in both traditional and nontraditional roles.

Xfinity Latino is committed to bringing you quality content about the shows and celebrities you want to hear about the most–that’s why I’m here. Count on me as your chica on the scene who will be scouring through hours of television and letting you know what shows are a “can’t miss”, what you should DVR, and what you can skip for now and catch up with On Demand if the story se pone mejor. You can also count on this pop culture princess to bring you exclusive interviews from your favorite stars, what you might have missed, and so much more that we’re currently cooking up. Aqui me tiene a la orden!

It’s a tough job but somebody has to do it right?! So sit back, grab a cafecito (or a mojito!), and let’s talk “TV to Si”.

Thursday is one of my favorite days for television and it’s not only thanks to Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and her team of gladiators on “Scandal.” I feel a tiny bit bad for my DVR and my remote as soon as we enter primetime. Thankfully though for Xfinity On Demand, if I miss anything I can catch up easily.

At 8pm, I’ll be tuning into “The Vampire Diaries” featuring “True Blood” alum Janina Gavankar in the role of Tessa. This chica throws everyone for a loop with her knowledge of Steffan’s (Paul Wesley) past and Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) future. If you missed the season 5 premiere entitled, ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’, click here to watch.

When “White Collar” returns for season five at 9pm on USA Network, Peter (Tim Dekay) is in jail facing murder charges. Can he count on Neal (Matt Bomer) to help clear his name or will Peter go down for the murder of Senator Pratt (Titus Welliver)? I know Neal has always been able to come through for Peter in the past, but the question that needs to be asked is, at what cost?

And the time slot I’ve been waiting for the most: 10pm! Jack Ballard (Scott Foley) returns (finally!) after being dumped into the ground by Olivia’s father Rowan (Joe Morton) in the season 2 finale. Let me be honest here, as much I love the actors and the juicy plots, I tune in every week just to see what Olivia will be wearing.

Don’t judge me.
