A California woman became the second-biggest winner in the long history of “The Price is Right” Monday when she took home $140,236 in cash and prizes.

The tally included a one-time win of $100,000, plus a BMW. It was a dream come true for the young woman, Cassidy Schiltz, a Houston native now living in Los Angeles who works as a “party princess” — an entertainer who works at kids’ birthday parties.

She won the cash in the show’s “1/2 Off” game, which was offering a grand prize of $100,000 this week as part of the CBS game show’s second annual “Big Money Week,” in which the show’s usual prizes are inflated a bit. CBS’s other game show, “Let’s Make a Deal,” is also participating in the special week of inflated prizes.

Well, when Ms. Schiltz won the money, it was a priceless moment. You can watch it in the clip, above. Understandably, she went berserk.

As it turns out, the second-biggest prize in the history of “The Price Is Right” is far below the prize-winning record for the show. That prize was $1 million awarded to a schoolteacher in 2008 on a special show that was billed as a “$1,000,000 Spectacular.”
