"Murder Police" (Fox)

Upcoming Fox series “Murder Police” has been condemned, and the show never even made it to the airwaves.

The animated comedy had been picked up for 13 episodes to air at midseason, but is now off the docket, according to TV Guide and won’t air on the network after all.

According to the report, Fox execs were not happy with early cuts of the show, which features voices such as Phil Lamarr (Futurama) and Jane Lynch. Will Sasso (MadTV), Chi McBride (Human Target), Peter Atencio (Key and Peele), Justina Machado (Welcome to the Family) and Jason Ruiz also had roles. The series centered on a bumbling detective and his co-workers.

Now, producer 20th Century Fox TV is reaching out to cable channels in a effort to see the series get paroled.
