You never know what you’re going to get with some YouTube videos. Especially those involving children. A number of videos are just plain boring  while others make you want to call child services. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I saw “2 yr old and her mom … Kills choreography !!! 2years old !” Now that Miley Cyrus inspired the world to twerk (I’m so joking. We all know twerking’s nothing new) maybe a misguided mother would think her 2-year-old child (boy or girl) gyrating upside down against a wall as worth a few likes. To my delight, there was nothing inappropriate here. It was very adorable and SFYE — Safe For Young Eyes (yep, I made that up). The video, posted in May, is nearing 2 million views, and was such a hit that “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” invited Atlanta dancer Tianne King and her now 3-year-old daughter Heaven to visit her show (I like that the “Ellen” show invites on regular folks doing cool things. King is a real dance instructor and in the video you see her and Heaven dancing to Beyonce’s “End of Time” in a dance studio (I had to emphasize real, as strippers also refer to themselves as dancers). Heaven obviously grew up watching her mom in the studio and has picked up on a few moves. When Ellen DeGeneres asked Heaven she wanted to be a dancer, the 3-year-old responded, “I am a dancer.” So adorable. The mother-daughter duo then performed their routine on the show and afterward, DeGeneres presented them each with tickets to see her friend Mrs. Carter perform in Brooklyn this December. They also will be able to go backstage and meet her. The look on Heaven’s face when she receives her ticket is priceless.

Diddy talks philanthropy on “The View”: Sean “Diddy” Combs’ empire really has expanded over the past 20 years. He leaped over Dr. Dre and Jay-Z to be named by Forbes as the highest-earning hip-hop artist of 2013. But as the Bad Boy noted, being No. 1 comes with responsibilities. “I want to change the world in a positive way and have fun doing it. I want to pay it forward,” Combs said on “The View” Friday. “Economic power does give you the power to make positive changes.” Combs oversees more than 1,000 employees and when he’s not counting his green, he does just that: give back. He’s active with the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE, pronounced nifty) and uses his influence to teach inner-city youth — who he says are in a state of emergency — how they can be at the top of their game too. Very inspirational, Mr. Combs. Also, over the weekend, Puffy (he slipped and called himself that on “The View”) joined his daughters’ mothers Kim Porter and Sarah Chapman as the little ladies strutted the runway for Kids Fashion Week. Combs has 7-year-old twins with Porter and a 7-year-old with Chapman. Yes, I know … Whatever beef existed between the parents is squashed and the little ladies are very close and look more like triplets. Good to see this. And Grandmama Janis Combs accompanied them, too, looking fresh with a new makeover. [Watch here]

Terrence J and mom also hit up “The View”: Terrence Jenkins is an alright guy. And he owes that to his mother. Friday, the “E! News” correspondent and his mother, Lisa Gonzalez, discussed his new book “The Wealth of My Mother’s Wisdom.” Jenkins, also known as Terrence J, said he was inspired to write the book while filming “Think Like a Man” and realized none of his success would’ve been possible without his mother’s teachings. His black-don’t-crack mother (she’s in her late 40s) got pregnant with the 31-year-old when she was 17 and his father walked out on them. She said this forced her to put all her energy into providing the best possible life for him. “Giving 99 percent is the same as giving 0 percent,” said Jenkins, explaining that you have to give it 100 percent. ” Put your heart into everything you do.” A few years ago Jenkins, then co-host of BET’s “106 & Park” hit a low-point when he struggled financially because he was “trying to keep up with the Jones.” He re-evaluated all areas of his life and got things back together. The book touched “The View” co-host Jenny McCarthy who’s a single mother. This wisdom Gonzalez shares is invaluable and she’s a testament to teen mothers that providing a loving, stable environment for their child is doable. [Watch here]

ABC buys new Shonda Rhimes’ crime drama, “Scandal” sets record: Shonda Rhimes keeps popping them out. No, I’m not talking about babies, although she did just adopt her third child. I’m talking about TV series. And ABC is eating it up. ABC just purchased a crime drama, “Just Rewards,” from Rhimes’ Shondaland, according to Deadline.com. “Written by Paul Downs Colaizzo, it centers on a bankrupt, forty-something divorcée and her underemployed [Millennial] neighbors who make ends meet by chasing reward money for unsolved crimes,” Deadline.com reported. This joins four other Shondaland projects in the works plus the hits “Scandal” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” “Grey’s” spin-off “Private Practice” ended earlier this year after six seasons. One show that won’t be going anywhere any time soon is “Scandal.” If you saw the third season premiere then you know exactly why. If not, take into account that the show has 200,000 tweets per episode and attracted 10.5 million viewers last Thursday. That’s a 76 percent improvement over the first seasons’ premieres, Deadline.com reported. See why Rhimes is hot? Check out “Scandal.” [Watch here]
