Whatever you do, do NOT steal Roseanne Barr’s material.
Barr had launched an aggressive campaign against “Two and a Half Men” producer Chuck Lorre as well as actor Ashton Kutcher because of a joke used in the show’s sketch that Barr says was stolen from her.
Barr took to her Twitter account to vent her frustrations, stating that Kutcher used her “wet where I’m supposed to be dry” joke on a recent episode, and then goes on to call him an ” thief.”
She then focused her anger toward Lorre – who used to work for her on her show – stating ““Chuck Lorre has made MILLIONS-hundreds of millions-YET-he STEALS COMEDIAN’S WRITING-helps himself 2 STEAL other ppl’s work w no guilt.” She goes on to say that “Chuck Lorre will do anything2 make a $-lie, steal, cheat, rip off comics ideas, re use already overused premises2 entertain moronic droolers.”
Barr has since added other posts using colorful language to describe her thoughts on Lorre (warning multiple f-bombs were used), and threatened legal action.
“If i’m unable2 sue billionaire chuck lorre4 theft, then I will force myself 2 watch his shows-& steal his jokes 2-altho NOT many R FUNNY.”
