“NCIS” has found the favorite to replace the departing Cote de Pablo.
The series is bringing in Emily Wickersham to join the cast for its 11th season, according to E! News. Wickersham may be best known for her role as A.J.’s girlfriend on the final season of “The Sopranos” but has recently been seen in a recurring role on FX series “The Bridge.” Now, however, she will now play Bishop, a new agent described to be “bright, educated, athletic, attractive, fresh-faced, focused and somewhat socially awkward.”
Right now, she is reportedly only locked in to three episodes, but is being eyed as a successor to could Ziva, who was portrayed by Pablo. Wickersham will make her NCIS debut during November sweeps.
“NCIS” returns for a new season on Tuesday, Sept. 24 on CBS.
