Powers Boothe on "Nashville" (ABC)

The population is going down in ABC’s “Nashville.”

TVLine writes that fans will see a lot less of a pair of regulars on the series. Powers Boothe, aka Lamar Wyatt, the father of Connie Britton’s Rayna, was one of the actors that will no longer be a series regular in Season 2. The other is Robert Ray Wisdom, aka Deacon’s sponsor Coleman.

However, both actors will instead appear on a recurring basis, with Booth actually on the show’s season premiere.

“Nashville” returns to ABC on Sept. 25.
