Million Second Quiz: Sign Up and Play with Friends

The Million Second Quiz is coming to NBC on September 9. But you can start playing online now. It’s your chance to win the biggest prize in game show history.  So it might be a good idea, as they say, to memorize everything!

Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, “The Million Second Quiz” is a state-of-the-art, electrifying new live competition where contestants test the limits of their knowledge, nerves and endurance as they battle each other in intense bouts of trivia for 12 consecutive days and nights. When the million seconds draw to a close, the champions will battle it out and the ultimate winner could claim the largest prize in game show history.

“The Million Second Quiz” will be the first fully convergent television experience where fans at home can play along answering the very same questions that contestants on the show are asked in sync with each night’s broadcast. The game is playable on the official “The Million Second Quiz” show website on NBC.com and on the show’s Facebook page. “The Million Second Quiz” app is available for free from the App Store on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch or at ww.AppStore.com/TheMillionSecondQuiz.  The app will be available on Android soon. Users can sign in through their Facebook, Twitter, and G+ platforms, or by using an email address.

The show competition takes place 24 hours a day over the course of 12 days. Contestants will be pushed to the limits of their knowledge and the breaking point of endurance as they compete in quiz bouts around the clock. Live, interactive, intense and unlike any other game show in history, this is truly the chance of a lifetime.

“The Million Second Quiz” premieres Monday, Sept. 9 (8-9 p.m. ET) and continues through Saturday, Sept. 14 in that same 8 p.m. hour. It will then resume on Monday, Sept. 16 and will air each night (8-9 p.m. ET) until the finale on Thursday, Sept. 19 (8-10 p.m. ET).  In between the broadcasts, the fans can watch the competition continue via a live stream on NBC.com or in the apps.
