British actor Joseph Gatt is playing the “Game of Thrones.”
The problem is that fans aren’t completely sure who, exactly, he will play.
HBO has confirmed the casting, according to the Hollywood Reporter, and although neither the network nor the actor are talking about his character, speculation has him set to take on the role of wildling leader Styr, Magnar of Thenn who is known for his build and hairless body. An addition clue has him in Iceland where the scenes beyond the wall are shot.
Gatt has made appearances in movies such as “Thor” as well as “Star Trek Into Darkness,” although “Game of Thrones” will clearly be his highest-profile gig.
In the books, Styr leads an attack on Castle Black as part of the wildlings assault on the Wall and the Night’s Watch.
