After a memorable but unsuccessful run on “Dancing with the Stars,” DL Hughleyis once again turning to television for his next project.

The actor and comedian has signed a deal with FX to develop and star in a new series based on his life, according to Deadline. The premise would see Hughley as “an unapologetically honest family man and radio host.”

On the personal side, Hughley, one of “The Original Kings Of Comedy,” has been married for over 25 years with three children. He recently signed on to host a nationally syndicated radio show.

Of course, he previously created and starred in the sitcom “The Hughleys” that ran for four seasons on ABC and UPN.
