Charlie Sheen’s long-lost daughter has been found! (Relatively speaking.)
Amber Tamblyn, who has starred in such series as “Joan of Arcadia” and “House,” has been cast in the plum, high-profile role of the long-lost, lesbian daughter of Charlie Sheen’s deceased character on “Two and a Half Men,” according to TVLine.
Her first appearance will be in the CBS series’ Sept. 26 premiere, where her character Jenny decides to head across the country from New York to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. Of course, she will end up bunking in the same house as her Uncle Alan (Jon Cryer) and Walden (Ashton Kutcher).
“She’s somewhat of a chip off the old block,” executive producer Chuck Lorre told the site about the character. “She’s having a good time and doesn’t care about the destruction left behind her. Decadence from the other side felt long overdue.”
Tamblyn will have a recurring role on the show that could grow into something more and comes in as Angus T. Jones is leaving the series.
