Good sport Jay Leno graciously congratulated Jimmy Fallon on the birth earlier this week of Fallon’s new baby daughter, Winnie Rose.
Leno, 63, made the congratulatory gesture during his monologue Thursday night on “The Tonight Show.” Genial Jay delivered his heartfelt salute to Fallon and wife Nancy, despite the fact that Fallon, 38, is due to replace Leno next winter on “Tonight,” leaving Leno to face the prospect of being off television for the first time in 21 years.
Of course, Leno and his writers couldn’t resist producing a sight gag to go along with Jay’s congratulations. In the bit, the English town crier who announced the birth of Britain’s Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge was seen also announcing the birth of little Winnie Rose.

Meanwhile, Fallon posted a photo of his new baby on Instagram. Take a look here.
