Children of the ’90s (and maybe some adults too) with a soft spot for “Full House” hopefully stayed up late to see a musical “Full House” reunion on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” Friday night.

It was a one-night-only reunion of Jesse and the Rippers, the band “Uncle Jesse” led on the ABC sitcom — starring John Stamos, of course.

Only Jimmy Fallon could engineer a “reunion” like this. It’s also possible that only Fallon would want to. But the studio audience at 30 Rock in New York (a full house, of course) seemed to love it as they stood and swayed along to the Rippers’ performance.

It was a blast from the past: Stamos even agreed to perform in costume as Uncle Jesse, complete with his trademark early ’90s hair — apparently a wig.

The Rippers performed a medley of songs that included “Little Sister,” “Hippy Hippy Shake” and, incredibly, the theme to “Full House” — “Everywhere You Look.” When the performance was over, “Full House” co-star Lori Loughlin made a surprise entrance to give Stamos a reunion kiss on the lips. Also spotted in the studio audience: “Full House” dad Bob Saget.
