‘Big Bang’ Star Johnny Galecki Talks About Leonard and Penny’s Future on ‘The View’

Sitcom star Johnny Galecki was looking very different than his “Big Bang Theory” character Leonard when he appeared on “The View” Wednesday.

Currently on hiatus from filming the hit CBS comedy, the actor has grown a full beard, prompting Elisabeth Hasselbeck to make a “Duck Dynasty” joke at his expense.

Talk then turned to “The Big Bang Theory” and the closeness of the cast, where Galecki stars as one of the four nerdy physicists that have become “sex symbols of the nerd crowd” and where his on-screen super couple of Leonard and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) have been christened “the new Ross and Rachel” [from "Friends"].

The ladies also asked Galecki to weigh in on Penny and Leonard’s chances of making it next season, after the season-finale twist that shipped Leonard off overseas for a new job.
