The last time a Charlie Sheen sitcom had internal strife, Sheen quickly found himself without a show. This time around, it is Sheen who is the dumper, and he did it by text.

After several days of apparent turmoil on the set of “Anger Management” that saw Sheen reportedly butting heads with co-star Selma Blair, the actress now finds herself unemployed, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Studio Lionsgate Television confirmed the news of Blair’s departure on Tuesday afternoon in a statement: “We are confirming that Selma Blair will not be returning to Anger Management and we wish her the very best.”

Sheen allegedly grew angry after accusing Blair of questioning his work ethic, and reportedly threatened to quit the show if the actress was still employed by Monday. Although producers tried to salvage the relationship, it would now appear that Sheen wouldn’t budge on his threats.

In fact, Deadline reports that Charlie Sheen “fired” her via text, in which he called the actress a nasty word. The report goes on to state that Blair was not the only member of the show’s cast and crew that was upset by Sheen’s work habits and they would often “sit and wait for hours for him to show up for work.”
