You still have time to plan a Father’s Day surprise for Dad that just might land him on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Watch the clip above for Jimmy Kimmel’s instructions on how to make this Father’s Day — Sunday, June 16 — a holiday to remember. It’s another “Jimmy Kimmel Live YouTube Challenge.”

Titled “Hey, Jimmy Kimmel, I made my dad breakfast in bed,” this “challenge” invites you to serve your dad a Father’s Day breakfast in bed, videotape the serving of the meal and then his reaction, and then post the video on YouTube with the words from the challenge’s title, above, so “JKL” producers can find it later.

And, in case you’re not up on these Kimmel challenges, you’re not supposed to really serve Dad a lovely, delicious meal. As Jimmy notes in the above instructions — which aired on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” earlier this week — he’d like you to serve your father something inedible such as a shoe filled with oatmeal (Jimmy’s helpful suggestion) or pretend to trip or otherwise dump the whole tray of food on your father.

“JKL” producers will then sift through the offerings posted on YouTube and then pick the best ones to include in a clip reel they’ll air some time next week on the “Kimmel” show. As Jimmy pointed out this week, last year’s challenge was to surprise Dad by suddenly turning a hose on him. As we remember from last year, the results of that challenge were hilarious.
