One of the “Late Night” guests was none other than Jeffrey Tambor, aka Hank Kingsley, the sidekick on the HBO comedy. (“Hey now!”)
Tambor brought back Kingsley for one night only, introducing the show in character while producers echoed the look and feel of “The Larry Sanders Show.”
For anyone unfamiliar with “The Larry Sanders Show,” the series ran through 1998 and starred Tambor and Garry Shandling as on-air personalities dealing with their own neurosis and swollen egos. (The Clip Is Below.)
He also offered up some fun TV Trivia: For those who may not know, Tambor set the record straight over who coined the popular phrase “Hey Now!”, which is heard regularly on the Howard Stern show — he did — that’s actually Tambor’s voice from “The Larry Sanders Show.” Watch Below.
