If you haven’t seen BET’s hilarious new series “Real Husbands of Hollywood,” a semi-scripted reality-show spoof of the “Real Housewives,” then you are missing out on some seriously funny television.
The first season, which wrapped up in early spring, was a ratings smash for the network. And series star/comedian Kevin Hart reveals that the 10 new episodes for Season 2 are already in the can — and set to be even more laugh-out-loud funny than its freshman outing, which also co-starred Nick Cannon (“America’s Got Talent”), J.B. Smoove (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”), Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin and the departing Robin Thicke.
“The second season is completed,” Hart revealed to “Access Hollywood.” “Robin Thicke isn’t joining us this season, but he came back and did the reunion show, so we may have him pop back in here and there if scheduling permits,” Hart said.
“But [season] 2 is better than [season] 1,” Hart said of the upcoming season. “We went and raised the stakes, man, and I’m excited about what we have and I think the fans and supporters we have are gonna be really, really happy with what we did with Season 2.”
The comedian also reveals his favorite TV shows (hint: he’s addicted to “Game of Thrones“), which he watches in his “mancave.”
A premiere date for the new season has not yet been announced.
