Fans who weren’t able to wait for the “Boy Meets World” follow-up series “Girl Meets World” were given a taste of what’s to come on Friday.
The ATX Television Festival kicked off in Austin, TX and showcased the first-ever official reunion of the “Boy Meets World” cast. Included in the mix, of course, were Ben Savage (Cory) and Rider Strong (Shawn), as well Matthew Lawrence (Jack Hunter), Lily Nicksay (Morgan), Trina McGee (Angela Moore), Betsy Randle (Cory’s mom, Amy), Maitland Ward (Rachel McGuire), and creator Michael Jacobs. (Where was Danielle Fishel, aka Topanga?)
Anyway, the cast sat down to a sold-out theater of over 300 fans, according to Entertainment Weekly, as the cast proved that they are all grown up.
Jacobs told the magazine the pilot for “Girl Meets World,” which centers around Cory and Topanga and their 13-year-old daughter, has been shot and is awaiting pick-up from Disney.
Here’s the video of their panel, posted by a fan on YouTube.
