The shakeup continues for “American Idol.”

Longtime producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick have been dropped from the show, according to The Wrap, in a continued move to overhaul the one-time ratings juggernaut.

Lythgoe and Warwick had both been there since the beginning in 2002, (although Lythgoe once took two years off) and also worked on its predecessor in Britain’s “Pop Idol.”

In addition to the producers getting cut, the FOX series is also losing judges Randy Jackson, Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey.

This past season marked the show’s lowest-rated run ever, dropping 20% from the previous season. Despite the dip, however, “Idol” is still one of the most popular shows on television.
