Hot on the heels of Bill Hader’s announcement that he’s leavingSaturday Night Live” comes a report in The New York Post that two more cast members are jumping ship.

Fred Armisen is also reportedly quitting “SNL” at the end of this season, an NBC source reportedly confirmed to The Post. Armisen has been an “SNL” cast member since 2002.

The story also claims that Jason Sudeikis is “probably” making his exit now as well; at the end of last season, it was heavily speculated that the comedian would not return for another year but he was ultimately lured back by executive producer Lorne Michaels. He’s been a featured player on the show since 2005.

That’s in addition to the loss of head writer and “Weekend Update” anchor Seth Myers next year as he moves on to take over on “Late Night” when Jimmy Fallon inherits “The Tonight Show.” Although Meyers says that he intends to stay on at “SNL” until he starts his new gig as a late-night talk show host in February 2014.

So that’s potentially four key cast members out for next season, which is a tough blow for the show, but among the many things that “SNL” does well, is bounce back. The venerable sketch show has been through many, many high-profile cast departures — and has still lasted 38 seasons (!) — so it will survive this latest exodus as well.

“SNL” wraps up this season this weekend with a finale hosted by Oscar-winner Ben Affleck and featuring musical guest Kanye West.
