After a season away, Christina Aguilera is heading back to “The Voice” after skipping the spring season of the show.
Aguilera will reportedly replace her replacement, Shakira, who is leaving after one season, according to The Wrap. After taking time off to promote her new album, Aguilera will come back for the fifth season of the show this fall. Fellow former judge Cee Lo Green has also stated that he will also come back for the new season after time away.
The article states that Aguilera will receive up to a cool $17 million to rejoin the show.
Season 4 of “The Voice” wraps up on June 18. No word yet on if Adam Levine or Blake Shelton are staying or going.
