John Stamos sees a future in a subject not often shared with the public.
The actor is creating a series featuring the one-time “Glee” star talking to his celebrity friends about their first sexual encounters, according to E! News. The show, Losing My Virginity With John Stamos, will be shown on Yahoo as a web series that launches next spring.
The idea first came when John Stamos was introduced to his bandmate’s sister about 13 years ago.
“She’s about 10 years older than me and I was in my late 30s then, and I said, ‘Nice to meet you,’” Stamos said to the site. “She said, ‘Meet you?! Don’t you remember? I took your virginity.’”
He goes on to recall the moment, noting that she remembered it differently than he did.
“I said to her, ‘I remember now. We were driving and I dropped my keys between my legs and you grabbed me,’” the former Full House star said. “She was like, ‘No, it was more romantic than that. I held your hand and we walked through a park together.’ The stories were vastly different.”
As part of the show, Stamos also wants to reunite his guests with their first partners.
“For every actor, celebrity, musician and politician out there that we see, there’s somebody at home going, ‘I was their first,’” Stamos said. “I want to hear their stories, too.”
But if the reunion isn’t going to happen, Stamos said that he and his coproducer Morgan Spurlock will even reenact the special moment using puppets, Barbie dolls or animation.
“One very big star said, ‘I gotta be on your show,’” Stamos continued in the interview. “He said, ‘My first time was in a cornfield and there was poison oak in the field. So every time I have sex now, I itch.’ That’s the kind of story I want on the show.”
