The Disney Channel is reviving the 1980s drawing board game show “Win, Lose or Draw” for a contemporary version featuring Disney Channel stars and kid contestants, the network announced Thursday.

This modern version of the classic game show will be “kid and family-friendly” and will be “powered by leading edge technology, motion control, interactive multi-touch screen displays and graphic technology with an interjection of comedic physical challenges, according to the press release.

Justin Willman of “Cupcake Wars” will host the revival, which goes into production in July and will premiere later this year.

The new show will feature two teams, each composed of two kid contestants and a Disney star, competing in a battle of drawing skills, creativity and wits to win prizes.

The original “Win, Lose or Draw” aired from 1987-1990 in syndication and on NBC and was co-produced by Burt Reynolds and hosted by Bert Convy.
