Listen up, America. In the words of Taylor Swift, NBC’s “Friends” are never, ever, ever, ever getting back together.

After the latest wave of misguided speculation that “Friends” was planning a reunion project, the show’s co-creator Marta Kauffman is dismissing the reports.

“I’m going to clear this up — it’s not happening,” Kauffman told E! News Tuesday night at the premiere of Jennifer Aniston’s new movie, “Call Me Crazy.”

“‘Friends’ was about that time in your life when your friends are your family and once you have a family, there’s no need anymore,” she added.

An NBC spokesperson also confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that a “Friends” reunion is not in the works.

Fans have been hoping for a “Friends” reunion, pretty much ever since the beloved NBC sitcom went off the air in 2004 after a decade-long run, and every few years the rampant rumors re-surge. Sorry gang, but it looks like Central Perk is closed for good.
