Something was missing when Bravo executives brought in the cast for the upcoming season of “The Real Housewives of New York City” for presentations to advertisers.
Only three returning cast members of the network’s reality show were on hand to plug the sixth season of the series, according to The Wrap. Bravo has confirmed that three faces have signed on to return: Ramona Singer, Carole Radziwill and Heather Thomson.
Missing in action are LuAnn DeLesseps, Sonja Morgan and Aviva Drescher, and none of them have a deal (yet) to come back to the show.
The site states that all three are looking for a bigger payday, but with ratings down last season, speculation is already underway that the series will receive its second drastic facelift, echoing 2011 when the network dropped Jill Zarin, Alex McCord, Kelly Killoren Bensimon and Cindy Barshop from the show and added multiple new members to the mix instead.
With reports surfacing that filming will start in only a few weeks, a resolution is expected to come soon.
