Annabella Sciorra is heading to “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” in a key role.

Sciorra has signed on to play the wife of Capt. Jim Brass (Paul Guilfoyle), according to The Hollywood Reporter. The character has been mentioned often during the 13 seasons that Guilfoyle has played the captain — but has never been seen until now.

The “Hand That Rocks the Cradle” actress will guest star in the May 15 finale and return in the Season 14 premiere episode later this fall for a case that hits the Brass family hard.

In the season finale, titled “Skin in the Game,” the “CSI” team will investigate the disappearance of the captain’s stepdaughter Ellie Brass (Teal Redmann), who was last seen on the show in Season 6, THR says.

The storyline will explore Brass’ troubled marriage to Nancy (Sciorra) and the couple’s infidelities.

“CSI” airs Wednesdays at 10/9c on CBS.
