UPDATED: Lindsay Lohan will indeed appear as David Letterman’s guest on his CBS “Late Show” on Tuesday, April 9, CBS confirmed Monday. The CBS announcement noted that Lohan has not done any interviews anywhere since November 2012. In addition, Lohan, 26, hasn’t been on “Letterman” since May 9, 2007. She’s coming on this time to promote her upcoming guest-starring appearance in the FX Charlie Sheen sitcom “Anger Management.”
PREVIOUSLY: Troubled Lindsay Lohan will go ahead with a scheduled appearance on David Letterman’s “Late Show,” despite her obligation to enter rehab for 90 days.
That’s the word from this story on the Eonline Web site that says Lohan is booked for the Letterman show on Tuesday, April 9 — and she’s keeping the appointment. It was unclear when Lohan’s court-ordered stint in rehab is supposed to begin. The 26-year-old actress was sentenced to 90-day rehab on March 18, along with 30 days community service and 18 months of psychotherapy in connection with a reckless driving charge to which she pleaded no contest.
Ever since she was sentenced, she’s done everything but go to rehab — filming a guest appearance on Charlie Sheen’s “Anger Management” sitcom and, more recently, traveling to Brazil where she’s been spotted all over the place partying in nightclubs.
There was no official word from CBS about the Lohan booking on the “Letterman” show.
