Jimmy Fallon was no match for Katie Couric when he challenged her to a game of “Pictionary” on NBC’s “Late Night” on Thursday.
The two fun-loving celebs were paired with two volunteers from Fallon’s studio audience for the game, in which contestants are challenged to guess a phrase or object from a picture drawn by their teammates.
The game came after Fallon sat down with Couric for a brief interview. Among other topics, the two discussed the “challenges” of putting on an hour-long TV show day after day.
“I am having fun,” Couric said of her afternoon talk show, “Katie,” now in its first season and already renewed for a second. “As you know, it’s sort of an insatiable beast,” she said. “You really have to come up with an hour of what you hope to be compelling or fun television every single day. As you know, Jimmy, it’s challenging.”
On the “Fallon” show, that challenge is often met with various games involving the show’s guests — including “Pictionary,” beer pong, and various competitions and races staged in the hallways of 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York.
