UPDATE: After sending the blogosphere into a tizzy Wednesday with reports she’s quitting her E! reality show after next season, Kim Kardashian took to her blog to clarify her remarks from the new interview.

“I know that many of you have read the Dujour Magazine interview I just did. In the article, I was asked about continuing on with “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” As everyone knows, we are extremely proud of the show and all of us are staying on through at least season 10,” Kardashian wrote.

“The show remains to be my number 1 priority and it’s a big part of my life and I enjoy every moment of it,” she continued … “I’m looking forward to the new season and beyond.”

Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner can stop having that panic attack now.

Motherhood is already changing Kim Kardashian and her first child isn’t even here yet.

Kardashian says she is quitting her E! reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” telling DuJour magazine that the ninth season will be her last.

The reality star has spent five seasons sharing the highs and woes of her crazy life and crazier family with the world, but that’s coming to an end.

“I think there’s always an evolution of, you know, what you want to do in life,” Kardashian, 32, explains. “It’s all about finding things that really excite you and motivate you and spark you all over again. I’m realizing that no matter what, if you go into something with all these expectations and plans, once you’re actually living it, it could be completely different.”

Kardashian credits the popular reality show, which spawned four spin-offs, as being “truly, the best family movie ever,” but admits she has “shifting priorities.” She’s ready to move on to the next chapter of her life and show a little less of herself to the world (allegedly), a new perspective gleaned from her boyfriend and the baby’s father-to-be, Kanye West.

“My boyfriend has taught me a lot about privacy,” Kardashian tells the magazine. “I’m ready to be a little less open about some things, like my relationships. I’m realizing everyone doesn’t need to know everything.”

Season 8 of “The Kardashians” is expected to return this summer. The third season of “Kourtney and Kim Take Miami” is currently airing on E!.
