Is it spring yet?
“The Real Housewives” are always in full rotation, and Bravo just announced that the eighth season of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” will premiere on April 1.
With a new wave of over-the-top drama, the scandalous Southern California mean girls are set to return, with cast members Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Barney, Gretchen Rossi, Alexis Bellino (yes, Alexis “I quit” Bellino is back) and Heather Dubrow in tow.
There are wedding bells and babies on the brain for at least two of the housewives, while two others weather their story relationships. And of course, there will be screaming.
The upcoming season also welcomes the newest housewife on the bitchy block: Lydia McLaughlin, “a fresh-faced, level-headed and surprisingly direct OC heiress,” as she’s described by Bravo.
“Housewives” fans can also look forward to the return of original “O.C.” cast member Lauri Peterson, who left the show four years ago and makes a surprising return this season, “rekindling her friendship with some of the ladies and revealing shocking information that will rock one of the wives’ worlds,” according to the press release.
Season 8 of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” premieres Monday, April 1, at 8/7c on Bravo.
