On Monday night’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Taylor phones Kim to inform her that she won’t be able to make it to her new nose unveiling party, which just happens to be already underway.
The bizarre call makes both Kim and Kyle uneasy, as Taylor incoherently admits that she’s fallen in love with a mystery man within a span of 48 hours and is being whisked away to Beaver Creek. To top it off, Taylor is completely unaware of the fact that her daughter is with Kyle and acts confused when Kyle asks if she should hold on to Kennedy during her impromptu vacation.
“Oh, you have Kennedy with you?” Taylor asks as Kyle and Kim stare at the phone in disbelief. “You know I trust you more than any person on the planet,” she mumbles.
“Didn’t you hear her voice?” Kim asks Kyle after they hang up. “She can barely talk.” (This is only further reinforced by Bravo’s use of subtitles as Taylor speaks in the clip below.)
Because Kim recognizes this type of behavior, and because Taylor sounded “beyond tipsy” in Kyle’s words, Kim is concerned. Perhaps rightfully so. One need only look at several of this season’s episodes — including Yolanda’s dinner soiree; the Ojai getaway; and Lisa’s tea party — to notice a pattern.
“As a person in sobriety I’m concerned that, who is this person, and is she safe?” Kim wonders, perhaps fearing that Taylor’s new man is Ken 2.0.
Meanwhile, Marisa questions why Kennedy is spending so much time with Kyle and is dubious of her aloofness about her daughter’s whereabouts. “It says something to her personality,” Marisa notes, adding that it seems like Taylor is just pawning Kennedy off on Kyle so she can live a kid-free life.

But that’s not all in the drama department! Tonight is also Kyle’s infamous White Party. Previews tease yet another epic showdown of deep proportions, which could get darker than the stain Adrienne’s self tanner left on Lisa’s furniture!
