Break-out comedian Kevin Hart will be hosting an upcoming episode of “Saturday Night Live,” NBC announced over the weekend.

This will be Hart’s first crack at the coveted gig. He’ll host the March 2 episode, featuring hip-hop duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis as the musical guest.

Hart has become the “It” stand-up comic lately, with a role in the sleeper comedy “Think Like a Man” and five films in post-production.

He also stars in the hit BET series “Real Husbands of Hollywood,” a hilarious male-version spoof of “The Real Housewives,” which co-stars Nick Cannon, Robin Thicke, Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin and J.B. Smoove. It premiered to over four million viewers last month.
