Comedian Howie Mandel is officially coming back for another season of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”
“I’m doing my fourth season of ‘America’s Got Talent,’” Mandel confirmed Tuesday to “Access Hollywood.”
“I’m thrilled to be back,” he added. “This is my fourth year and [the talent] has been getting better and better every year.”
As previously announced, Howard Stern is also returning for a second stint on the judges’ panel of the talent competition, while producers continue their search for, or at least have yet to name, a replacement for former judge Sharon Osbourne, who quit the show at the end of last season.
Presumably, the reality show will have the entire judging panel set in place soon, since auditions for the upcoming season are under way and the judges are scheduled to appear for their first taping March 4 in New Orleans.
Charming host Nick Cannon is also confirmed to be back.
Season 8 of “America’s Got Talent” will air this summer on NBC.
